2. Res Ed/Mentor meetings: These meetings are meant for discussions, collaboration, and preparation for Year 3 RESA. Your mentor has the "Toolkit for Resident Educator and Mentor Moves". It has your forms, guiding questions for discussions and much more. Download the toolkit and save a copy for yourself.
3. Stay Informed: Read through the FAQs page to keep current on Res Ed information.
4. Connect with a veteran teacher: Are you the only world language teacher in your building? Click the CONNECT tab to find a veteran teacher who can offer you support, advice and ideas.
5. Become familiar with the RESA: Read the RESA Participant Guide, RESA Instrument and RESA rubrics before you start
Year 3 so you know what the tasks require. Reflect upon your planning, teaching and assessing methods. Videotape and self-assess your lessons periodically for practice. Use these during Mentor meetings for discussion and reflection.
